One of the latest movies out of Bollywood, Love Sex aur Dhokha” (Love Sex and Betrayal), is challenging the familiar formula of song-and-dance routines and violent revenges.

The movie uses unconventional cameras including spy cams and security cameras to follow three story-lines involving a student, a shop manager and a rock star. It explores the lack of privacy and changing attitudes in the modern world.

Opening in Cinemas last week the film also exploring the changing attitude of India’s censors with with blurry visuals of a naked woman and voyeuristic sequences in the trailers. A lengthy sex scene didn’t escape the boards scissors.

In a wave of religious devotion thousands of men in India have taken to dressing up as the Goddess Radhi. Radhi, or Radhika as she is sometimes called, was a consort of Lord Krishna, noted for the clarity of her devotion.

According to a story on Ananova it seems that modern devotees of the Lord can express themselves more clearly if they slip into a sari first. Says retired railwayman V. K. Saxena, 72; “I can’t put it into words properly but I feel more holy dressed as a woman.”

Radhi herself was an incarnation of the goddess Lakshmi who was the giver of wealth and prosperity. Cash and crumpet, what more could a deity want? Well according to Saxena: “The Lord told me he wanted me as his bride.” And to fulfill that role he gets to sashay round New Delhi in womens clothing. I wonder If goddesses have sexy underwear too.

Now call me a cynic but I can’t help thinking that if Krishna had wanted a goddess that was hung like a donkey he would have been more inclined to go for someone like Areeya. What do you think?

You’re probably wondering why Zeina is all wrapped up what appears to be a curtain or bed sheet. Well Zeina is Indian and Indian ladies happen to look great in large pieces of cloth. In India it would be called a sari and is a respectable item of clothing.

But I still prefer the idea of getting tangled up in large sheets. Especially if I can get tangled up in the same one that Zeina is tangled up in.

She apparently comes from east India. Now there is quite a lot of east India but judging by her skin colour I would suggest well to north of Chennai (formerly Madras). I’ve never been over that side of India but if the girls all look this good then it is high time I did.

Diwali is a time of giving sweet treats and Penelope is one of the sweetest treats I could imagine. She is also very sexy indeed.

I had the luxury of being in an office today when a group of ladies uttered a collective “eeiiuuw!!“. They’d just read the news that the authorities in Bihar, one of India’s poorest states, were encouraging people to eat rats in an effort to beat the food shortages.

Rats steal rice so by eating them you not only conserve the rice you get a meal at the same time. Rats are cheap, plentiful and easy to breed. In fact you can’t stop the little fuckers.

Now not all rats live in the sewers and those that don’t I would put far lower on the eeiiuuw scale than something like oysters or caviar. Just think about what oysters and caviar really are for a moment … and remember that oyster isn’t even cooked … eeiiuuw your right!

Now I’ve eaten some pretty funky things on my travels, snakes, grasshoppers, sheep’s testicles and fugu, a fish so toxic that chefs in Japan need a special licence to prepare it. Harkarl, which is Icelandic for shark meat that has been buried in the volcanic ash until it makes the stinkiest of stinky cheese lovers wince, is washed down with Brenivin (aka black death) which is a schnapps made from potatoes and old socks.

Rats, I can assure you, are not at all bad. Minced, mixed with spices and cooked kebab style in a clay oven would be typically Bihari. Serve with dahl which can be licked directly from Gaya Patal, yumm!
