Sales of saucy undies are booming in Britain and, according to retail chain Debenhams, it is women in their 40s and 50s that are doing the buying. Encouraged by TV shows such as Sex and the City 2 and Cougar Town, older women are rediscovering their bodies, often after having children or getting divorced.
“Positive female role models in this age group such as the women in the Sex and the City movies and Courtney Cox in TV’s Cougar Town are giving the women confidence to splash out on themselves,” Debenhams head lingerie buyer Annette Warburton told Reuters.
Positive role models eh? Now when a 50-year-old geezer chases after a hot looking babe half his age he’s called a dirty old man, a pervert and told that he should be ashamed of himself.
Now I think it’s great that women are reclaiming their sexuality and enjoying themselves, I really do. But I think is a bit crap that they get called role models because they buy cosmetics and cami knickers and men get called sad old gits because they don’t.

According to Brazil’s Health Minister, Jose Gomes Temporao “.. Adults need to do exercise: walk, dance and have safe sex.” he dispensed the advice at the launched of a campaign to fight high blood pressure.
“It’s not a joke.” he continued “It’s serious. Having regular physical exercises also means sex, always with protection of course.
“Dancing, having sex, keeping weight under control, changing dietary habits, doing physical exercise” all help keep blood pressure down,” he said.
Sexercise, It’s a manifesto that I, and probably most of the male population of Brazil, would certainly vote for. I like Brazilian girls (ok, ok I like all girls)
Which reminds me, I’ve not been over to Macau for donkeys years. The former Portuguese enclave use to be a good spot for finding Brazilian ladies. The place has changed now, I think it’s time I took a trip.

MET China

I’m often asked to post more pics of Met-Art Asians. I would if I could. Met do have some Asians on their site but I haven’t seen any new ones for some time now. But the other day a gentleman in Germany sent me a few pics from a site that he called MET China. He wondered if I knew anything about them.
Actually I knew nothing about them at all but there is a site at metcn.com. It’s all in Chinese but you can use Google Chrome or some other translation service to turn it into something resembling English
It appears to be the work of one photographer, Zhang Xiao Yu, who is not connected to Met-Art. He calls his site MetCN so it is easy to see how some people might think they are connected. His pictures are also very much in the Met style and one of them was a whopping, Met-sized 3000×1700 pixels.
Unfortunately joining his site seems to be a bit of a palaver. Get your favourite translator and see this page for instructions. If you are up for the adventure it looks like you will be well rewarded.

Judging from what was sent to me it seems the poor fellows work is enthusiastically pirated by his compatriots so you could always trawl the search engines for other pics. To be honest I don’t have the patience for that sort of thing.

The girls were all looking pretty glum. They were playing bar games amongst themselves to help pass the time. I thought you were supposed to play that with customers I said as I sat down.
“No have customers.” Said one, “Only you” said another. Must be low season I replied. “Low season for whole year” quipped a third.
It’s true tourism to Thailand is way down. I’d been here at the tail end of 2008 when protesters had shut the airport down leaving tens of thousands of tourists stranded. Continued political uncertainty has kept them away this year and the few that are coming are giving Bangkok a wide berth.
Back then it had been the yellow shirts demanding a change of government. If you’ve been following the events you’ll no doubt be aware that this time it is the red shirts. All the taxi drivers are red-shirts, hop into a cab and you’ll find the radio tuned to a live broadcast of the events. It also helps them to avoid the traffic snarl-ups that are caused by them.
Otherwise in Bangkok it’s business as usual. There is little evidence of the struggle that’s going on. I avoid areas where the demonstrations are taking place because if I want to get from A to B it is simply quicker to go around them.
But there is no danger to foreigners. It is purely between the yellows and the reds and apart from the occasional traffic snarl-up visitors are still able to enjoy the city. In fact there is probably no better time to be here. Hotels are so starved of business that they are offering some excellent deals and discounts, particularly at the four and five star end of the scale.
In the bars too, with so little competition from other customers and the girls glad of whatever business they can get, its a perfect opportunity to get yourself well and truly pampered. I finished my beer and paid the bar-fine … for all three of them. Heh, that made them smile.

I was hardly through the curtain when Mai came bouncing up to me, “How are yoooo,” she said, and without pausing for breath; “You know Arex?” I’d never seen Alex before in my life I told her.
“You remember Poom?” She continued. Poom I did remember, she’d left a few months ago to have a boob job and to get married.
I’d been quite appalled at the idea of her getting a boob job. I thought her tits were gorgeous as they were, I had intimate knowledge of them. Poom wasn’t a dancing girl she was just a waitress. Never-the less she had been very popular and made quite a lot of money.
She would sometimes come around to my place, when I was in town, for lunch and a romp. Afterwards she would fall asleep and I would work. From my desk I could see through the bedroom door to her naked body on the bed. Curled up in a pool of sunlight while the breeze from a fan played with her hair. Yes, I remembered Poom with a great deal of affection.
“Arex is new husband of Poom,” said Mai continuing her introduction.
“Well, well,” I said to him, “you’re the lucky bastard that got her. She’s a lovely girl …” I resisted the temptation to add “… and a great fuck.” Besides Poom herself had just back from powdering her nose and I also had to resist the temptation of squeezing the bum that I knew so well.
I bought a round of drinks but I didn’t get to talk to Alex much. Sensing a party a buch of other girls came over to say hello. Alas I’d only stopped by for a quick one. He was a chef from England but whether he plans to stay here in Bangkok or take his new bride back to the UK I don’t know. Still, he seemed like a decent bloke and I wish them the best.
