Come Hither

I’ve never really wondered if I’m kinky or not. I guess to some people anything other than the missionary position with the lights off is kinky. Most of the things that turn me on are probably fairly normal. At least when I survey the vast cornucopia of internet porn it would seem so. Asian schoolgirls, punky types with pink hair, in fact any type of wild coloured hair, stocking tops and any amount of other things.
The one that I call my own came courtesy of a Chinese lady I met once. Well she looked Chinese, she was actually born and brought up in Scotland and she had a beautifully rich Scottish accent. She would have been late twenties when I met her. She was wearing a tweed calf length skirt over black boots, a black heavy knit sweater and shiny black hair with just a trace of hi-lighting.
Despite the rather frumpy attire it was clear she had quite a body underneath it all. “Och,” she said, eying me suspiciously, “and wha cannae be doing for you?”. Normally unflappable, I flapped. I had this overwhelming desire to curl up into a ball at her feet and stroke her boots.
That would make me a “bottom”, or the slave, for example, in a master/slave relationship. I discovered this by reading Dr Gloria G. Brame’s intriguing book Come Hither: A Common Sense Guide to Kinky Sex (Published by Fireside,
ISBN-10: 0684854627, ISBN-13: 978-0684854625).
I was drawn to the book by a question that was posed on the back cover “After you tie someone up, what exactly are you supposed to do?” I had a few ideas, they made me chuckle, but when I tried to apply common sense rather than schoolboy humour I realised that it might not be all that smart to actually try doing them. I had to know the truth so I bought the book.
I’d always known there was a scene or scenes for these things in the US but I hadn’t realised just how well organised and how much variety there is. Brame discusses a lot of the more common kinks and fetishes and she also describes some of the toys and equipment that can be used in the pursuit of such pleasures.
The author explains how you can unlock your own individual sexuality and guides you through the do’s and don’ts and the ifs and buts and, importantly, the how and where to start the journey. She is also keen to point out that there is no right or wrong, there is only like and don’t like and as long as it is practiced between consenting adults your imagination is your only limit.
Come Hither is a good read. You don’t need to be kinky to enjoy it, all you need is an open mind and a healthy curiosity about the scope of human sexuality.
As for me, I wouldn’t make a good bottom really, I guard my independence too jealously. But I’d happily play the part for a few of hours if someone could recreate that wonderful lady.

The siege of the International airport left Thailand with tens of thousands of tourists all trying to leave through a military base at Utapao about an hours drive east of Pattaya.
The International airport at Suvarnabhumi handles about 900 flights a day, Utapao has a capacity of about 20 so it wasn’t a difficult decision for me to stay put for a while. But I was heartened to learn that those weary travellers that braved the bottleneck were treated to free food and a cultural show.
The show included classical dance, local musicians and a ladyboy cabaret troupe. My thanks to a reader from Sydney for sending this rather fetching pic.
