Doing her bit

Nineteen-year-old Xiao Yun is a student in Beijing but she is native of Sichuan province in China. Her village was destroyed in last months devastating earthquake. Although her family are all in Beijing she has, never-the-less, been doing her bit to help raise money for the victims by posting pictures of herself, scantily clad, on a Chinese bbs and encouraging people to donate.
“I am still a student,” she says, “so I am doing my part in my way. I just want to give something back to my hometown.” The forum thread in which she posted the pictures received over a million hits in just a few days. I can understand why.
